Manufacturer: CemotechBrand: Vinabond

A stronger connection between mortar and substrate.

Redispersible polymer powder disperses again when water is added. It modifies cement- and gypsum-based mortars, particularly adhesion and flexibility. Polymer chemistry and grade determine the result.

Substrate
Test adhesion on the actual surface under the required conditions.
Flexibility
Consider polymer hardness alongside the performance target.
Service conditions
Assess how moisture and temperature affect bond strength.

Before you select

Does RDP replace cellulose ether?

No. Their roles differ. Polymer powder primarily modifies bonding and mortar properties; cellulose ether controls consistency and water retention.

What information is needed for a grade recommendation?

Share the application, formulation type, process conditions, target performance and required quantity so we can review the grade and documentation.
